Choosing MAPCO means partnering with a strong, proven convenience retail brand that combines the power of a recognized name with the flexibility operator's value. Unlike other franchise models in the industry, MAPCO offers a balanced approach providing brand standards, merchandising guidance, promotional programs, established vendor relationships, and no licensing and royalty fee. With a loyal customer base driven by a robust rewards program, deep regional market knowledge, and operational support designed to help stores perform, MAPCO gives operators the credibility of a major brand without the constraints or complexity often found elsewhere. It’s an opportunity to grow with a trusted partner, not just operate under a logo.

To qualify, candidates must demonstrate a minimum of $200,000 in available cash or liquid assets, whether pursuing an existing location or a newly developed site.

To become familiar with MAPCO store procedures and operational standards, new licensees are encouraged to complete hands-on training at an existing MAPCO location prior to opening. During the initial week of operations, a MAPCO Area Manager will work side-by-side with the licensee, providing on-site training covering store equipment, daily reporting, and MAPCO policies and procedures. This hands-on support is designed to ensure a smooth opening and equip operators with the tools, knowledge, and partnership needed to operate a successful MAPCO store.

MAPCO is seeking driven licensees with an entrepreneurial mindset, a strong connection to their community, a commitment to operational excellence, and a passion for delivering an outstanding guest experience.
